In an article on Sportsnet.ca posted on October 29th, 2013, it details a meeting Tim Leiweke had with the media at the Empire Club. In this meeting Leiweke acknowledged the Argos move is still on the table, but no decision yet.
– At the requests of the city of Toronto, which owns BMO Field, MLSE is looking at whether the venue can be changed to accommodate the CFL. “The Argos are part of a conversation, not a decision that’s been made.”
These comments echo comments Mr. Leiweke made earlier in the year at the Season Seat Holder BBQ and with the supporters group, SG111.
The article also mentions BMO field is also getting a roof, though no timeline is mentioned.

The Toronto Argos have signed a deal to stay at Rogers Centre until the end of 2017 season but must leave after that, clearing the way for the Blue Jays to get a grass field.
“The parties involved have agreed that no licence renewal past that date is contemplated,” the CFL club said in a statement released Friday.

A renewed lease for the Toronto Argonauts to play at Rogers Centre will effectively serve as notice to vacate, clearing the way for grass to be installed for baseball no later than 2018.
The Toronto Blue Jays have determined it is possible to grow and maintain a grass playing surface inside the facility by digging up the floor, adding a drainage system and topping it with about 30 centimetres of dirt.
